About Me
My Background
I am Assistant Professor (RTDa) at the Department of Civil, Chemical, Environmental, and Materials Engineering, University of Bologna. I got a Ph.D. in Fluid Mechanics at the University of Bologna, where I investigated the flow of complex fluids (e.g. muds, foams, aqueous suspensions) in a geological fractures. My research is mainly addressed to the study of the compound effect of the shear-thinning fluid rheology and fracture aperture heterogeneity on fluids flow and transport processes in fractured formations via stochastic methods.
